Description: 2014-04-12 - Making plans the night before for a milkyway session that I so yearn for, it was called off upon waking up at 2am to a heavy rain. Making my way back to bed, I made a mental note to wake up in a few hours with hope that I would get some nice sunrise instead at the Putrajaya Dam. Arriving late at location that morning to a sky that starts to "burn", I was struggling to decide on the composition that I would stayed for my time-lapse shoot. After a few minutes (and losing some of the "burning sky" moment), I decided to stay at this composition for a whole 600++ frames. Alhamdulillah the clouds formation and lights fall was one of the beautiful sunrise that I have witness. The image was one of the frames in the middle of the time-lapse session that day as the sun starts to come out of the horizon.

Last night was a "honey moon", so called because the June full moon is the one most likely of all the full moons of the year to glow yellow throughout the night. I took this shot East of San Jose airport - you can see a rooftop construction, the tail of an aircraft, and Mt. Hamilton in the background.
I took multiple exposures, but I noticed that the moon is moving too fast at 200mm zoom, so there was ghosting between the exposures. I post processed a single RAW exposure into a balanced HDR photo to enhance the micro-contrast.

Description: 2014-04-13 - The image was taken last Sunday as on the last minute I decided to make my way to Darul Quran in Kuala Kubu Baru which is approximately 1 hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Arriving a bit late, I quickly deployed my gears in place and Alhamdulillah this was the 1st frame of 900 frames I took for my time lapse session. Do visit my Vimeo or Youtube profile for the timelapse later.

Eastern Great Egret
Scientific Name: Ardea modesta
Description: The Great Egret's overall plumage is white, and, for most of the year, when not breeding, the bill and facial skin are yellow. The feet are dark olive-grey or sooty black, as are the legs. During the breeding season, the bill turns mostly black and the facial skin becomes green. Also at this time, long hair-like feathers (nuptial plumes) hang across the lower back, and the legs become pinkish-yellow at the top. Young Great Egrets are similar to the adults, but have a blackish tip to the bill.
Similar species: The Great Egret can be confused with other white egrets found in Australia. It can be distinguished by the length of its neck, which is greater than the length of its body (and with a noticeable kink two-thirds of the way up), a dark line extending from the base of the bill to behind the eye and the overall larger size.
Distribution: Great Egrets occur throughout most of the world. They are common throughout Australia, with the exception of the most arid areas.
Habitat: Great Egrets prefer shallow water, particularly when flowing, but may be seen on any watered area, including damp grasslands. Great Egrets can be seen alone or in small flocks, often with other egret species, and roost at night in groups.
Feeding: The Great Egret usually feeds alone. It feeds on molluscs, amphibians, aquatic insects, small reptiles, crustaceans and occasionally other small animals, but fish make up the bulk of its diet. The Great Egret usually hunts in water, wading through the shallows, or standing motionless before stabbing at prey. Birds have also been seen taking prey while in flight.
Breeding: The Great Egret breeds in colonies, and often in association with cormorants, ibises and other egrets. Both sexes construct the nest, which is a large platform of sticks, placed in a tree over the water. The previous years' nest may often be re-used. Both sexes also incubate the eggs and care for the young (usually two or three).
Minimum Size: 70cm
Maximum Size: 90cm
Average size: 80cm
Breeding season: October to December in the south; March to May in the north.
Clutch Size: 2 to 6
Incubation: 28 days
Nestling Period: 40 days

A shot with a soundtrack in the comments
Well its never dull in Hull as you know
I spent the last weekend listening to a wide variety of new music as the 2019 New Music Biennial arrived in Hull. A total of twenty new works by a variety of composers were held at various venues in the city . Whilst most of the music was at the serious end of the spectrum and inside buildings . This piece was just a bit of fun as a fleet of seven ice cream vans call out to one another. The vans, each with their own individual harmony, weave in and out of each other to create a mesmerising symphony of different clustered sounds. It was created by Dan Jones who is a multi award-winning composer and sound designer working in film, television and theatre. The vans toured the estates of Hull which must have been quite surprise .
If you live in up market locations you might never have seen one of these incredibly tacky vans. I remember as a kid you could hear the vans coming down the street usually playing Greensleeves for some reason. I would have to try and beg thruppence of my mother to go and buy a cornet
A short video the first I have posted on flickr including sound is available at the top of the comments
As was the case in 2017 the 2019 New Music Biennial is being held in Hull and London. The New Music Biennial 2019 is a PRS Foundation initiative that supports and provides a platform for talented organisations and music creators who are pushing the boundaries of new music in the UK. It creates a world class programme of commissions, performed across the UK, broadcast by BBC Radio 3. New Music Biennial presents new music across all genres, from classical and chamber opera, to jazz, folk and electronic. We aim to reach new audiences for contemporary music and encourage ideas for short works no longer than 15 minutes duration which could be performed in a range of settings. A great deal of the music can be heard on the Radio 3 website

PLEASE COMMENT!
As you know, I love Overwatch.
Now I'm having trouble deciding on who to make.
Help me choose which one to make!
Also comment ideas on base parts.
:)
Athena-
She's Winston's AI, but I love the idea of her character. There's leaks of her online but I found fanart. I kinda love her look.
Doomfist-
If you were following the Horizon ARG, then you'll know that Hammond was referenced. This is art of Hammond as Doomfist, which I absolutely love.
