Me, Lee and kev went fishing out from watchet in the Bristol channel on this boat called the 'Scooby doo'. It was still only Autumn, and the rain washing into the channel had turned the water to mud. We stayed out for the best part of eight hours, during which Kev caught a Thornback Ray, while me and Lee ate Werthers and caught a cold. Later that night -back at the 'Pig and Whistle'- I drowned my sorrows in Olde English Cider before staggering home being chased by a Badger.

While in Chatham on Monday afternoon, we had lunch at the Chatham Squire, which has pretty fantastic clam chowder. I had Cape Cod Red back in June when we visited the Cape Cod Brewery but it was my favorite then, so I took the first opportunity to have it again this time. And since it only made it into the project as 1/3 of a week, I figured it deserved its very own week.
