I made these for Fat Tuesday. The tartlets were made in a cupcake pan, using a cream cheese pastry. I baked them filled with a small amount of pecan pie filling, then filled them the rest of the way with a chocolate cream filling I'd cooked on the stove.
To make it more festive, I made picks using a photo from The Graphics Fairy and added some lettering and a border. I also made a fleur de lys stencil with some cardstock and dusted coca powder over it.
Lava cakes or molten chocolate cake and whipped cream. Coconut rasp and sunflower seeds. Decorative plate. High point of view.
Medjool dates, almond, coconut, cocoa powder, coconut oil, ras el hanout, salt. Way better than Larabar.

Mole Chicken Chili with Brown Rice from America's Test Kitchen Slow Cooker Revolution. Cinco de Mayo is coming up, right? A chilled bottle of draft root beer seems quite appropriate.

Unbelievably light and fluffy marshmallows in a variety of flavours: strawberries, green tea, yuzu, or malted cocoa. Which one will you choose?

Probably from the 80s, this Steel can held 8 ounces of Hershey's Cocoa powder.
Its price, listed on its lid was $1.99!
The finished product, not quite as pretty as it should be, I'll have to give them another go soon. :-/

Chocolate cake is studded with pretzels, homemade beer nuts, dark chocolate, and marshmallows. If you take away the marshmallows, this is a vegan dessert too. Who would have thought? I promise, there is chocolate cake underneath all that goodies, somewhere.
