The Toronto Electrical storm. Playing with some different exposures; not the cleanest shot, but one of the most dramatic. Some spots on the lens from the incredible downpour we were experiencing; decided to leave them as-is rather than try to photoshop them out.

The 'Southern Lights' or Aurora Australis is a regular visitor to Tasmanian skies. At around latitude 42 South with some of the cleanest, clearest skies in the world, the displays are often magical.

Representing an investment of approximately £1.7m and forming part of a £10m investment into new vehicles this financial year; Go North East has ordered ten Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid vehicles, which will be used to upgrade "Durham Diamond" services 16/16A (Castleside - Consett - Stanley - Durham), replacing the existing Mercedes Citaro allocation.

Manufactured by Wrightbus in Northern Ireland, this batch of vehicles feature the latest Euro 6 Micro-Hybrid engines with the cleanest vehicle emissions standards. Unlike previous examples in the fleet, they therefore feature a Wrightbus grille on the rear bonnet, providing additional air circulation.

Similar to all recent orders, these vehicles feature Esteban Civic V3 seating complete with e-leather; two-colour Tarabus 'Wood Effect' flooring; and blue accent lighting, which is fitted underneath seats, to provide extra light on the gangway.

They also feature free customer Wi-Fi, audio-visual Next Stop Announcement LED internal signs, and USB power sockets on the back of each seat to allow mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets to be charged 'on the go'.

In 2008, Forbes magazine ranked Miami "America's Cleanest City", for its year-round good air quality, vast green spaces, clean drinking water, clean streets, and citywide recycling programs.

According to a 2009 UBS study of 73 world cities, Miami was ranked as the richest city in the United States, and the world's fifth-richest city in terms of purchasing power. Miami is nicknamed the "Capital of Latin America" and is the largest city with a Cuban-American plurality.

Downtown Miami is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, and many large national and international companies. The Civic Center is a major center for hospitals, research institutes, medical centers, and biotechnology industries.

For more than two decades, the Port of Miami, known as the "Cruise Capital of the World", has been the number one cruise passenger port in the world. It accommodates some of the world's largest cruise ships and operations, and is the busiest port in both passenger traffic and cruise lines.

Metropolitan Miami is the major tourism hub in the American South, number two in the U.S. after New York City and number 13 in the world, including the popular destination of Miami Beach.

Bench Mondays

This is the lobby at Coltivare in downtown Ithaca, NY where Stu played a gig today. I liked how they lined the chairs up so they resembled a bench. This restaurant is probably the biggest and the cleanest I've ever been in. I think the word pristine would fit here.

I saw this lady approaching and could feel a shot developing. Instead of composing and waiting for her to pass, I rushed and fled towards her.

A passing gaze froze the moment between us. Eyes locked, shutter pressed. The moment quickly thawed and our worlds we're no longer intertwined.

I am so far behind. You can expect a flurry of uploads in the upcoming days because it is FINALLY SUMMER! And I am all moved in (with wifi). :)

I think this is the cleanest expansion I have ever attempted. I love doing them but they are so damn time consuming.

New LEZ standards came into effect from Monday 1st March 2021 which required heavy vehicles to meet the cleanest Euro VI emissions standards. With the fleet of five StreetLites not meeting that standard a small swap took place towards the end of February with the StreetLites moving to Gillingham and five Enviro 200 MMCs moving in the other direction.

don't let that face fool you, he LOVES the tub...probably the cleanest pup in CT

i'm exahausted, mentally, emotionally, my neck/back hurts from when i wake up till I start drinking the pain away. . . .

this is the cleanest my room has been in months, why does your bed feel amazing after you've put away all the clothes, picked up and changed the sheets. . . .ahh. i love my bed. it's one of my favorite places on earth!

This isn't the best shot but I sure had fun with this sunset. I was rushing around looking for a cool foreground to go with the epic sunset. What did I find...no babbling creek or field of sunflowers...just cows. I guess that's what you get in the middle of Northwest Ohio. So cows it was and these cows were so intrigued with what I was doing I couldn't help but post this. It's not the cleanest shot and I hope to do some reworking but thought you all might have fun with this one. Have a wonderful Labor Day folks!

The Königssee is a lake located in the extreme southeast of the German state of Bavaria, near the border with Austria. It's all part of the Berchtesgaden National Park. Located at a Jurassic rift it was formed by glaciers during the last ice age. It stretches about 7.7 km. The lake similar to a fjord is surrounded by steeply rising flanks of mountains up to 2700 m. The lake is noted for its clear water and is advertised as the cleanest lake in Germany. For this reason, only electric driven passenger ships, rowing and pedal boats have been permitted on the lake since 1909. Due to its picturesque setting, the lake and surrounding parklands are very popular with tourists and hikers. In addition, the lake's position surrounded by sheer rock walls creates an echo, which is known for its clarity. St. Bartholomä, a famous pilgrimage church with a small inn nearby, is located on a peninsula about halfway down the western lakeshore. St. Bartholomä and the southern edge can only be reached by boat or via hiking trails up the surrounding mountains.

"Mirror, mirror on the wall, what lake's the fairest of them all?" Lake Königssee is what most of our visitors would answer. Hardly surprising, with its crystal-clear emerald-green water and mystifying atmosphere. Innumerable fish swim its depths and its surface reflects the rocky walls of the Watzmann massif. Here in St. Bartholomä - Germany the historical heritage is regarded with respect. As early as 1909 electric boat traffic was introduced in an exemplary early effort to prevent pollution. This is still the case today.

I recently came back from a one week road trip through the Faroe Islands, so, you can expect photos from the Faroe Islands all this week. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - you all get a Faroese photo.

If you're unfamiliar with the Faroes - and, don't feel bad if you've never heard of them, they're not exactly a tourism magnet - they're a small archipelago in the North Atlantic between Iceland and Denmark. Or Iceland and Norway. Whichever you prefer. As they're officially a self-governing country in the Danish realm, you may hear their location being described in relation to Denmark, even though Norway is a bit closer.

With sheep outnumbering people roughly 2:1, the islands are filled with unspoilt land, a ridiculous number of waterfalls, some of the cleanest and purest drinking water you can find, and stunning natural features. The landscapes are some of the most dramatic I've come across, with cliffs and mountains facing off with the seas everywhere you go.

The islands are still quite small. Apparently you're never more than 3 miles from the ocean! Even so, with 694 miles of coastline amongst the islands, there's plenty of chances to see the stunning work of Mother Nature.

I had to take a pic of my workspace tonight. This is the cleanest it's ever looked. Mostly because the birdies went to bed early tonight and I had a chance to muck it out...and yes, I work at the kitchen counter...=P

In the north of North Holland, between Alkmaar and Den Helder, lies the beautiful, rugged dunes of the coastal village St. Maartenszee. The area is known for its very diverse landscape. There are many routes for cycling hiking through the dunes and woods with beautiful views. Open dunes are interspersed with dense forests and wet plains. Unique are the moors which can be found almost anywhere in the dunes. The sand in the dunes contains little calcium and therefore heath can grow. A bit wild between the dune roses, birch, rosehip bushes and in a protective dune or even better, on top of a dune. The village is also near St. Maartensvlotbrug and on the border of it lies the nature reserve Het Wildrijk, famous for the thousands of wild blooming hyacinths. North of the village lies the nature reserve of Zwanenwater, which runs until Callantsoog. Just after the lake are two Highland cattle beside the path and they do not seem to see us. One is unperturbed with food and the other suffers from itching and rubbing his head along the bushes. We follow the sand path and walk towards the beach. The beach at St. Maartenszee is one of the cleanest beaches of the Netherlands. It is a unique wide sandy beach. Here no Zandvoort scenes, no crowded beaches, but an old-fashioned family beach. On the beach you can find a special type of sand, sanded quartz with garnet. Here you can peacefully sunbathe and swim and enjoy the healthy sea air and the salty waters of the North Sea.

The dunes of the Netherlands are well worth a visit. The dune areas are ideal for a combination cycling and walking. One moment we walk through the open dunes, the next moment through a dense forest. Photo of Kanitha walking through the dense pine woods near Sint maartenszee.

I was out for a bike ride on the trails around the lake & came upon some people with their dog swimming in the lake.

Not the cleanest place to swim but dogs I guess will swim where ever they get a chance.

Best if viewed large. One of the cleanest campgrounds I have ever stayed in. Cudos to the camp managers.

One face. One eye. One moon shows me all. It shows me colour. The cleanest clearest waves surface from the dark depth of the ocean shore. I do not mind the odd ripple. For the ocean it vaster. Greater. Bigger and bluer than the slight movement. It is in sync. Sync with the rest. The rest of the body. The ocean the stars and me.

When the other half swallows. It swallows me whole. Inside the whale that is floating in the ocean. I do not see the colours. Or the ripples that dance on the oceans shore. I cannot access beyond the dark inside. I only know that deep down i can feel it. And feel it i do.

It had been a late start and the weather was a little unpredictable, so I ended up meeting Phil in the cleanest driest corrugated tunnel we know of. Its so quiet down there, so putting up a couple of camp chairs and boiling up some water for a coffee was the thing to do. Phil had his laser game on, trying out different angles to get something looking a little different. whilst I messed around trying to get my elements to line up satisfactorily. Was the most productive couple of hours I've had in a while.

This was the cleanest E36 I have seen in many years. All original and low mileage. Given the new plate and temp permit, I'd image it was a new purchase and probably from it's first owner.

It named for Saint Bartholomew the Apostle Bartholomäus in German. A first chapel at the lake was built in 1134 from 1697 onwards it has been rebuilt in a Baroque style with a floor plan modelled on Salzburg Cathedral, two onion domes and a red domed roof.

A beautiful place to relax and perhaps to think about the future. There is no better time than the present to plan for retirement according to the Bank. In there advertisement they call it Het Zwitserleven gevoel or in English the Switzerland feeling.

Having recently sold my Capri, I went to have a look at this as a replacement.

It looked clean in the pictures I'd seen of it, but it was even better when I got there! Very original with tonnes of history, it was the cleanest example I'd seen for a long long time.

Just a shame I missed out on it in the end....

Teknaf Beach is one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in the country.Lots of fishermen come and go there especially in the early morning or evening. Besides, this beach is completely different from other beaches in the country. Such colorful fishing boats are not often seen on any other beaches in Bangladesh. Teknaf is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy the beauty of the sea in solitude. The water of Teknaf beach is clearer than Cox’s Bazar beach .

How to go

Teknaf, a romantic old-world border township in the southern tip of Bangladesh territory looking up to the Myanmar high hill ranges across the river Naf. Teknaf is 85 km from Cox’s Bazar by road and 120 km by the beach along the sea. After reaching in Cox’s Bazar, take local transport to reach there.

Definitely, not the cleanest of all, but the passing storm during sunset can make for some lovely colors. Throw in a ND filter and get some cloud streaks, can make an ordinary place look surreal.

BieJee and Samantha enjoying a refreshing swim at the Königssee. A lake with some history since Eva Braun did go skinny dipping here.
