The school closed in June, 1966 and the building, a brownstone built in 1891, became headquarters for the Worcester School Administration. It was replaced by Doherty Memorial High School and the members of the first graduating class of Doherty, of which I am a member, received a tour of the "old school" as part of our 50th reunion activities on 7 October, 2017.

Zhouzhuang’s classical charms attracted many to dress up in traditional outfits and take artistic portraits there. These ladies’ Tang Dynasty styles fit the ambience quite well, didn’t they?

I'm currently updating a translation with the Greek names for the gods and goddesses--will publish soon! :)
"RAGE--Sing, O goddess, the anger of Achilles son of Peleus, that brought countless ills upon the Achaeans. Many a brave soul did it send hurrying down to Hades, and many a hero did it yield a prey to dogs and vultures, for so were the counsels of Zeus fulfilled from the day on which the son of Atreus, king of men, and great Achilles, first fell out with one another. One of many Roman statues which are amazingly life-like in the Capitoline Museums of Rome.
The Capitoline Museums are divided into "Palazzo dei Conservatori" and "Palazzo Nuovo" both in Capitol Square. They were founded by Sixtus IV in 1471, extended by St Pius V and opened to visitors by Clement XII in 1734.
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo contains the World's greatest collection of Ancient Egyptian antiquities, covering all periods of Egypt's rich history from the Pre-Dynastic, Old, Middle & New Kingdoms all the way to the Greco-Roman era.
The star exhibit has for the best part of a century been the treasure's of Tutankhamun's tomb (discovered in 1922) which occupy two whole galleries on the upper floor. However this arrangement will soon change as the entire Tutankhamun collection (along with several other important pieces) will be transferred to the new Grand Egyptian Museum currently being prepared in Giza. A few pieces (that I recalled from our previous visit in 1995) had already been moved, and by now doubtless others will have followed, with plans for a partial opening of the new museum with its purpose-designed Tutankhamun galleries scheduled for late 2018.

Self-portrait with boyfriend against the ancient red walls at Casa del Menandro in Pompeii.
The Casa del Menandro (named after a portrait of the poet Menandros which is to be found in the house) was first built in 250 B.C. - but later much rebuilt, including after the earthquake of 62 A.D. which had damaged the house. It was owned by a Quintus Poppaeus, who might have been a relative of Poppaea Sabina, the wife of emperor Nero.
2015 Hearst Castle-Ceiling in Casa del Monte (House B) guest house is handpainted and decorated with 22 carat gold leaf. It features Classical design elements, but also includes a few local references: the words “San Simeon” and eucalyptes leaves

I am refinishing these photos in Lightroom 5! She was a tall, thin, fit, athletic goddess and classic california beach babe! A pretty brunette with brown/hazel eyes and long black hair! Amazingly scuplted and toned body, abs, quads, legs, calves, biceps and more!
Shot with a Panasonic DMC-FZ50--a nifty little camera that still had a CCD in it, instead of the cmos sensor! It's close to Micro 4/3 and the Leica lens/ glass is awesomely sharp!

First pullip. Expect lots of Alice pictures! She quickly became one if my favorite dolls, and one of my favorite dolls to photograph. I got her from PullipStyle.com with a dent box, as I didn't care for the box, only Alice and her accessories, and I was planning to take her out of packaging from the start so I saved a couple of dollars there(even though it took me 5 minutes to find such dent that I hardly think of it as one. Such a non-problem being taken into consideration by the retailer really shows the high quality of service from PullipStyle).
Over-all review of Alice: She's mine hands off! Kidding aside lovely, and looks a lot like the drawings of Alice in Through The Looking-Glass, with a bit of pimped up attributes here and there making her a one of a kind variation. The wig has a good scent to it, so it won't get a foul odor on the clothing and accessories. It has no bald spots and you can't see the seams of the wig unless you push the hair over. It is a nice thin(dimensions matter!), polyester I believe, hair, with quite minute frizzing. Almost none, but making the hair look more natural. Her curls are not stiff, and incredibly soft. The company(Groove) used a very very high quality spray, that can't be noticed practically at all when touching the hair, to help keep the curls in their designated design. The curls are easily fixed with only moist fingers. Great doll, but very delicate. I've never been more careful with a doll than Alice.
The City Federal Building is 27 floors of thigh-burning madness.
This neo-classical skyscraper was constructed in 1913 and remains the tallest structure of such design in the South.
