In 1977 'Silver Jubilee' livery, 47580 runs through Biggleswade on 0Z43 Alton (Mid Hants Railway) to Dereham (Mid Norfolk Railway)
47 409 catches the midday sun as it races north past Inveresk with 1S12 the 08.40 York to Aberdeen.
Note.
Keith didn't record the loco number in his written notes but the identity of this loco has been deduced from examining the original negative at a larger magnification and cross referencing it with contemporary images of 47 409 circa 1982. The image was taken between 1st - 8th June 1982.
Class 47's 47636 and 47557 trundle past the recently demolished carriage sheds at Orpington, working down to Tonbridge to work evening mail trains having been refuelled at Hither Green. 25 August 1992.
47276 passes through Harbury cutting with a train of Rover cars, 6O95, Washwood Heath - Dollands Moor.

47444 'University of Nottingham' passes Narroways Junction as it descends Ashley Hill bank, Bristol, with a north - south service at 14.50 on 13th February 1986
47444 was allocated to CD in Nov 83 and was repainted in large logo livery in Nov 85, it was withdrawn on 5th Nov 1990 and scrapped in July 1995 by MRJ Philips at Crewe
47270 ambles through Skipton with a coal train on 31/05/75 with four class 25's stabled in the siding behind.

47830 'Beeching's Legacy' is seen here ticking over as it awaits the road in preparation for it's morning shunting duties at the North end of Guide Bridge Yard on the 17th June 2021.
After arriving working the 0K67 from Crewe it would then work the 0K68 back to Crewe just after 1pm.
23rd July 1998. "Totnes Castle" on 1O38 9:10 Edinburgh Waverley to Bournemouth; this loco was rebuilt to become 57306 in 2003.
In April 1974 I bought an Olympus Trip 35 to keep in the car, this was one of the negatives from that test film, others will appear!
We were on a Sunday drive to visit Market Harborough and standing in the station was this green class 47. As I got out of the car the driver gave the loco some beans and we got this nice cloud of clag.
I never got the number but at last the mystery is solved thanks to Flickr folk (see below) it is 47 201
