Making for a colourful sight, 47815 in Two Tone Green and BR Blue 47839 pass Green Lane back in November 2005 with a Rug-Ex special for the Wales versus South Africa match.
After 66779 passed on 6K50, 6E08 was the next, and last, train. I had time so I walked down the canal at Barrow to the next bridge. The shot was good so I decided to wait for 6E08 there. Here is 47739 working 6E08 the 14:50 Washwood Heath - Boston Docks past Barrow upon Trent 26/7/16

I saw that 47830's return after working to Laira was due at Acton Bridge at 19:30. I also saw that it had numerous pathing stops and I thought that if it came before 19:00 then the shot is on! I watched it get earlier and earlier, and having passed Crewe Gresty Lane at 16:41 it got held until arriving at Crewe at 18:02. Fortunately it left a minute later at 18:03. A Network southeast liveried class 47 hurries through Orpington with the Tonbridge to Bletchley mail on 25 August 1992. Although I can still remember who the driver was, (it was one of our turns) I failed to record the loco number!

47053 complete with snowploughs passes the site of the recently demolished carriage shed at Orpington with a Willesden to Dover freight on 25 August 1992.
Regrettably only one class 47/4 received the rather smart Scotrail livery and 47461 'Charles Rennie Mackintosh' is seen here passing Blackford with (what I estimate to be) 1T30 1225 Inverness to Glasgow Queen Street.
