37411 not about to work the 18:27 Holyhead to Birmingham New Street on Sunday 23 May 1999. I can't remember whether it actually failed or not, but 37203 was added and 411 shut down. Both were replaced by 37413 at Chester.

This was one of those class 37s with 2 different ends, this end shows the original split headcode boxes, the other end has the centre headcode box
DRS 37604 heads 'The Lancs Links' rail tour away from Ormskirk towards Burscough Junction on Sat 7th March 2015.
The train left Ormskirk at 14.08 with 37419 bringing up the rear and this was a 'leg' of the 10.01 Crewe to Crewe calling at Ormskirk, Preston Docks, Liverpool Docks and Liverpool Lime Street.
On 25 January 2014, we see 37610 (out of sight at the front) and 37405 passing New Beckenham on the "Buffer Puffer 11" tour and taking the curve to Beckenham Junction.
Class 37/0 No.37174 at Shirebrook on 29th October 1983..The 37 entered traffic at 86A Canton on 16th September 1963 as D6874 and was withdrawn in October 2007 being cut up at EMR Kingsbury in April 2008.

DRS Class 37/4 No.37425 Concrete Bob behind Class 37/6 No.37605 at Ipswich with 0Z37 11:23 Willesden Brent - Norwich CP on 5th February 2018 running 29 minutes late.
Now even farther south in this shot, between Panteg and Cwmbran station, working the Trafford Park-Llanwern/Cardiff Tidal steel service, and yet another unidentified Class 37 about to pass with a steel service for Dee Marsh. 4th November 1988.
Worth a small loss of mileage to get off at Carnforth to get some photos of 37403 at the curved platform. The loco was working the 11:56 Carlisle to Lancaster.

37425 departing the Cumbrian Coast village of St Bees on the 11:38 Barrow in Furness to Carlisle service.
One of a batch of underexposed Instamatic shots uploaded out of interest, this shows ex works 37146 at Motherwell on 9th February 1974, in the company of a 47 and a pair of 20s.
37146 came north from South Wales to Haymarket in 1966 and had just been renumbered the previous month. It survived as a preservation attempt before being used as a spares donor by Europhoenix, finally being cut up at Leicester depot in April 2021.
Seen at Holes Bay on the 20 January 2010 light engine is West Coast Rail Class 37/7 No, 37706 bound for Corfe Castle running as the 0Z28 from Southall.

On Saturday 4 September 1993, there was a chance to enjoy two pedigree Scottish Class 37/0s for haulage on the Highland Mainline. 37043, ex Loch Lomond worked the 09:45 Inverness to Glasgow Queen Street. The corresponding northbound service was in the hands of 37188, previously named Jimmy Shand. In the mid-1980s, both locos were regulars on the West Highland Line.
