37245 at Crewe Works Open Day 04/07/1987. The 37 was in for collision repairs received in an accident with a MGR at Westhouses Derbyshire.

Class37 No.D6814 at Liverpool Street in 1970 with full yellow ends and original green livery.New to traffic as D6814 at 41A Darnall (Sheffield) on 20th February 1963 and under TOPS became 37114 in February 1974..She was withdrawn in October 2007 and cut up at EMR Kingsbury in January 2008.
Going back over thirty years here's a shot from the Plant. 37014 is seen opposite the main gates of Donny works back in 1981.
Class 37 no. 37669, deputising for a steam loco (due to alleged fire risk) approaches Mallaig on the afternoon "Jacobite" special from Fort William on 13 May 2019.
37669 started life as D6829 in 1963 and was renumbered to 37129 under TOPS. It became 37669 when rebuilt in August 1987.
37084+37693 unloading stone at Bredbury stone terminal 24 Feb 1987. I managed to get a cab ride to Woodley station in the cab of "693" from here!
The only thing 37248 is missing is the cosmetics as she nears the end of an overhaul at Doncaster Works in 1982.
The other unusual thing I've just noticed about this photograph is that the Romanian 56 on the right iloooks like it's being outshopped in plain blue, when all the new ones were being delivered with Large Logo.
Class 37/0 No.37215 at Shirebrook on 10th March 1984..New as D6915 to 87E Landore on 1st January 1964 and withdrawn on 16th July 1993.Sold for preservation to the Growler Group and moved to the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway on 24th June 1994 for further use.
37415 pulls into Achnasheen while a a lone hiker and the post man wait for the down service from Kyle of Lochalsh to Inverness which will cross here.
