This 4-8-0 locomotive was built by Neilson & Co. Ltd. in Glasgow in 1892. It has been restored incorrectly as no. 345 of the CGR (Cape Government Railway). It was originally no. 332.

British Railways class A4 steam locomotives 60008 'Dwight D. Eisenhower' and LNER 4489 'Dominion of Canada' NRM Shildon, County Durham. Friday 28 March 2014.
60008 along with 4489 were temporarily returned to England to take part in the 'Mallard 75' celebrations held at York during 2013 in which all six surviving A4 locomotives were reunited for the event.

32348 is seen in the siding at Berwick mid-way between Lewes and Eastbourne on 17th August 1961. It is facing west on this east-west route; not sure if this is 'up' or 'down'.
Class K was a L B Billinton design for the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway built in 1913.
L B was the son of R J who had succeeded William Stroudley as Locomotive Superintendent/Engineer of the LBSCR.
His initials stood for Lawson Butzkopfski (no, me neither - maybe it was his mother's maiden name).
