The back of the photo reads: "Class Day 1916 R.H.S." This was probably the senior class of 1916 at Richfield Center High School. They were the last class to graduate from that school, which was torn down in 1916 to make way for the new centralized school.

Three Class 1900 locomotives make their way up the branch from Sines in Portugal. The noise produced by three of these locomotives working flat out up the gradient is still one of the loudest things I've ever heard.

HMAS Otama, British Built Oberon Class Submarine launched off Glasgow in 1973 by Princess Anne. It spent more than 20 years in service. Currently it is moored off cribs point near Hastings. Bought from the Royal Australian Navy for $500,000 as a centre piece of an ongoing project to build a Maritime Museum at Hastings to promote Hastings rich maritime heritage. Problems at state level government is hindering the process for now.

Knox College students in class "The Bread and Puppet Theatre" build paper mache puppets. The class also includes research into the famous political protest theatre company, writing and performance of several short works, and the sharing of fresh bread with the audience.
