Sooooo… it's only fitting that my first post while in Melbourne Australia be of Charlie! This is Kristen Cook's gorgeous new little addition (and sleepy I might add). She had contacted me WAY back in the early stages of her pregnancy asking if I could come and visit her lovely city and do a baby posing class! At the time I thought it was crazy to travel that far (over 10,000 miles one way and 20+ hours in a plane), but how could I turn down such an adventure. Well what an adventure it has been. While I'm here I will teach to 52 Australian photographers and spend 14 days. I have had more than just a good time and looking forward to the next 3 classes and seeing more of Melbourne. This is from day 2 of the first class. Thanks Gemma for bringing this lovely pram for us to play with... what a challenge it was to use, but oh so rewarding!
and edited on my laptop so not knowing if it's looking great! I hate working on laptops!

Class 141 unit 141011 arrives Castleford with the 1400 Leeds to Knottingley service on a dull 12th July 1984.
Mark my words, one day these units will achieve the legendary status their service warrants.
Or perhaps not...

I always liked the look of these Swindon built Class 123 DMUs, although this is the only picture I ever took of one, seen departing Doncaster on a Hull to Manchester service in February 1984. On their last legs at this time, they were withdrawn a few months later.

Armed with a single particle accelerator cannon and two ultra high velocity railguns, the Delta-class heavy interceptor is capable of engaging even much larger spacecraft with a fair chance of success. It is not, however, capable of dogfighting, so it can get into serious trouble against smaller, more maneuverable fighters.
My contribution to round 4 of the Starfighter Telephone Game, team A Blast from the Past. I changed the role from bomber to fighter, but it's supposed to be a rather heavy, clumsy one to leave room for further evolution of the design. Speaking of design, I tried to integrate a couple of ideas from Adrian's bomber. I think this has improved the overall look compared to the WIP version I posted previously.
A class 120 hybrid dmu is approaching Water Orton with the 07.33 Lincoln to Birmingham New Street service. The wind-less day had a post-snow mist and Hams Hall power station is only seen as a delicate outline against the grey sky.
Both the power station and the DMU are now long gone.

The humble DMU, much malaigned when I was a kid with names such as Bog Units, Boggo's and even Fart Carts due to the exhaust rasp! gained a following due to their longevity lasting well into the sprinter era.

Very much a spur of the moment shot after spotting the puddle on the platform when returning from 'The Wheatsheaf' pub. Inspiration aided by three and a half pints of 'Harvey's Best' in the aforementioned pub!
