Just had to make the time to do this challenge when I received an Etsy package this week and something was wrapped in a sheet of this gold tissue-I knew I had to use it-Tissue dress with paper clip embellishment,milk bottle cap purse and bread tab bangle-bodice of dress is made of a corrugated coffee sleeve
Robots were in action on Saturday, Jan. 21, at Penn State York when 35 teams of middle and high school students took part in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) South Central PA Regional Qualifier, a robotics competition. More than 500 attendees, including competitors, volunteers, and spectators attended the event. The winning alliance, comprised of three teams, were the Javengers from Enola, Pennsylvania; Cubix^3 from Hampstead, Maryland; and Sparks from Villanova, Pennsylvania. The finalist alliance, or second place winners, included Imagine It from Palmyra, Pennsylvania; Metal Works from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and GearHounds, from York, Pennsylvania. This was the seventh time the campus has hosted an FTC event.
Vancouver's Little Mountain Little League Challenger Division team play Clinton LL from Michigan in the Little League World Series Exhibition Game at Volunteer Stadium.
The 2017 Kosciuszko Challenge was our biggest and best year yet! We had 325 people climb and raised over $140,000 from generous supporters.

This challenge is intended to be fun so you can create an item on your dream list using fabric.
No cost to enter.
Due: October 23, 2014
June 26, 2014 meeting:
1. Select your least favourite/undesirable/ugliest fat quarter from your fabric collection. 100% cotton only!
2. Bring this undesirable fat quarter to the June 26, 2014 meeting. Note that you are not using this fabric in
your quilted item!
3. Your fat quarter is cut in half and you randomly draw 2 other pieces of fabric to give you 2 pieces that are
equivalent to a fat quarter. Label them ‘Fabric 1’ and ‘Fabric 2’.
4. Attach a sample of Fabric 1 and Fabric 2 to the entry form below.

5. Choose one item on your dream list/bucket list/wish list to showcase in your quilted item.
6. Make a finished quilt or object, maximum size 25” x 25”. It can be any shape but no one side can be longer
than 25” that shows this dream item. It can be a wallhanging, table topper, or miniature.
7. Fabric 1 and Fabric 2 must be used.
8. Use any other fabrics or embellishments as desired.
October 23, 2014 meeting
9. Bring your completed challenge item to the October 2014 meeting for voting by the members.
10. Vote for the following categories:
a. Best display of dream item – 1st and 2nd place
b. Best use of ‘undesirable’ fabrics – 1st and 2nd place

Stash Challenge #9
This one started life as a brown linen short sleeved top for a woman of expansive girth. So I removed fabric from one spot, added it to another, until it resembled a tunic. Only problem, the sleeve ends were uneven. I added the bit of black linen to finish off and even up the sleeves, and I think it really jazzed it up too.
Looking at it on him, I think I need to lower the front of the neck.
