Fence in my backyard with a rusty chain hanging on it.

This wonderful Sweet chains quilt is made of 6 different high quality cotton fabrics. I used pastel pink, white and blue gray to create a romantic look which I absolutely love. This quilt is pretty big (57''x 57'') suitable for either a single or a double bed. It will look gorgeous draped over the end of a bed, chair or sofa. And why not as a picnic quilt! ok. must admit. huge janis joplin fan.her voice is too great for words to describe everything that is in that voice. i swear it brings out evey single emotion in her soul. love love love it.

The Chain Dress - This was made from only grocery store and garbage bags, VHS tape, and broken jewelry. I melted the bags into thick strips and wove them together for the skirt with an open, fluffy back. The skirt fits on the natural waist with a clean line before turning into carefully cut strips of plastic, a shortened, mermaid inspired dress. The belt is made from knitted VHS tape, and the chain accents were from necklaces in my jewelry box with broken clasps, tied in strategic areas. Modeled by Ione Lohnes.

Why oh why was it necessary to chain up the cistern in the public loo in Southerness? Do people really nick these things, and if they do, why on earth....???

The thumb grip on our dogs leash broke, forcing me to cut it off. I got a clip from the hardware store, and knowing how ineffective key rings are when it comes to restraining a dog, I replaced it with some old bicycle chain links.

That sucker ain't going nowhere.
