These free-spirited pack donkeys are happy doing what they do best, working. Donkeys have been working animals for 5,000 years or more and have a reputation for stubbornness which is the likely reason they are know for their self preservation. Donkeys are known for their intelligence, as well as being playful, friendly, cautious, and eager to learn.
Five copper donkeys working to transport their pack goods and each one individually hand sawn, hand stamped, polished, and attached together in chain fashion. Solid copper chain has been attached at each end creating an 18 inch adjustable length necklace that is completed with a hand crafted hook catch. Each copper donkey measures 1 ¼ inches from ear to hoof by 1 ¼ inches from tail to muzzle and carries a hand stamped brass pack.

The restoration of Castle Gardens, a Lisburn City Council project costing £4.2 million, is one of the ten largest urban park conservation schemes grant aided in the UK by the Heritage Lottery Fund. This project has restored Castle Gardens, conserving and enhancing its unique historic character and ensuring that the park plays a positive key role in the changing social and economic fortunes of Lisburn City. The archaeological works carried out uncovered some significant historical artifacts such as a 17th Century Gazebo (summer house), Terrace Walls and a stone perron stairway.
New facilities in the gardens now include an Information Point with displays outlining the history of the Gardens and their restoration, fully accessible public toilets and an Education Centre located in an original Second World War air raid shelter. Memorial to five bicyclists killed and four bicyclists injured by a man driving a pickup truck while under the influence of medication and illicit drugs. The crash was called, "the worst of its kind in Kalamazoo County, and possibly in the entire state of Michigan," by Paul Selden, the Director of Road Safety for the Kalamazoo Bicycle Club.

On June 11, 2018, the driver, Charles Pickett Jr., was sentenced to 40 to 75 years in prison on counts of murder, operating under the influence causing death, and operating under the influence causing injury.
To make it easier to visit, the monument was installed on County property a little bit south and across the street from where the cyclists came to rest. People still visit the original location and leave objects to show other visitors that they had been there.
