Verdict: I'll definitely make less of it if I make it again, the recipe is for a HUGE portion of food! It's very nice and tasty though.
After we sadly had to pull our broccoli plants because they bolted, I was shocked and surprised to find this, hiding in all the leaves. Woohoo!!
I made this back in December and the sorrel in my garden was still going strong. I had forgotten about it, but these pictures have reminded me that winter has arrived. The sorrel finally went dormant.
Preheat oven to 350. Boil 2 heads chopped cauliflower in casserole. Drain well. Add half stick butter to casserole, and put cauliflower back in.
In a separate bowl, beat one 12 oz can of evaporated milk, two eggs, white pepper and mustard powder. Pour mixture over cauliflower, add 3 cups shredded cheddar-type cheese, stir well. (add other mix-ins now, such as bacon, sausage, spinach, paprika, etc.)
bake for ten minutes, then take out and stir. top with bread crumbs or parmesan and bake for another 20-30 minutes. finish under broiler.
Not bad, but a little wet. Make sure to drain the cauliflower very well.

I was given the challenge to do a creative shot using cauliflower - this is my straight shot - see the Pooh Bear picture for the fun shot
