The last of the leaves as the woodland rests for the winter.

Maple leaves silhouetted against the forest's golden late summer morning.
About the process
I made this image with a DuKane 3-inch f/2.5 Coated Anastigmat slide projection lens that I converted to M42 mount. I have called these lenses "Ektoplasmars" sometimes and it is a way to find other images made with similar lenses.
Nikon D600 + KMZ Industar -61L/Z 2.8/50 @ f/2.8
I ciclamini amano l'ombra del sottobosco ma, qualche volta, i raggi del sole filtrano tra gli alberi per accarezzarli. Ma solo per un breve, magico momento.
The cyclamen love the shade of the undergrowth but, sometimes, the sun's rays filter through the trees to pet them. But only for a brief, magic moment.
