Interflogüers ;-)

Found some old unedited files from a few years back that seem quite relevant for the odd times we find ourselves in right now...stay safe everyone. Title taken from Bowie’s Changes....

'Heroes' by David Bowie, recorded at Hansa Studio, Berlin, 1977

Another of my (all-time) favourite songs - it never fails to lift my spirits

I love the cheer- and playfulness of David Bowie when performing live in Berlin 2002 ('Shut up, Bowie!') - I think he loved to be back !!

That's an outdoor chess game in the urban garden of my hometown, by the way :)

Beautiful to walk around in summers and enjoy the fragrance and sight of British roses.

It is still cold, but with early blooming cherry blossoms my heart feels like spring...

Today's homework: spring in the neighborhood.

Still trying to get a grip of this lens to have it perform as I like. Not as easy as I thought... The blur it creates is rather different according to distance or light conditions. Rikenon 55mm f1.2 was easier to handle. Here for example it is particularly appealing.

TTartisan 100mm f2.8 bubble bokeh

Still no leaves on the trees which will light up the forest floor and create soft bubbles. Lens used Meyer-Optik Görlitz Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 wide open.

Seed heads silhouetted against the last of the suns rays on the riverside waters...taken with the Helios 44M

Cloudbursts and sunshine...and rainbow bokeh! That's what makes me happy....shame I hadn't got the grass in proper focus but hey ho such is life ;-))

Exploring blurriness. Pentacon projection lenses have a certain "name" in this regard. It is difficult to find reasonably priced one that is in good shape. Here are a few test shots.

The dust in the air is my favourite subject for bokeh photos :-)

Autumns colours don't last long but this one leaf has decided to hang around a little longer...

Spring has finally sprung! Thought it deserved a riot of colour to celebrate! Thanks Graham for the nudge!😉

Spring is almost upon us but it seems some Autumnal colour is still hanging on in there! Shot with the Helios 44M.
