Today's homework: spring in the neighborhood.

Still trying to get a grip of this lens to have it perform as I like. Not as easy as I thought... The blur it creates is rather different according to distance or light conditions. Rikenon 55mm f1.2 was easier to handle. Here for example it is particularly appealing.
Out of focus - Dandelion out of focus with TT Artisan 100 2.8 Bubblebokeh
Macro with bellows device
Postprocessing with capture one: mainly dehaze and contrast added
Still no leaves on the trees which will light up the forest floor and create soft bubbles. Lens used Meyer-Optik Görlitz Trioplan 100mm f/2.8 wide open.
Exploring blurriness. Pentacon projection lenses have a certain "name" in this regard. It is difficult to find reasonably priced one that is in good shape. Here are a few test shots.
The dust in the air is my favourite subject for bokeh photos :-)
Seed heads silhouetted against the last of the suns rays on the riverside waters...taken with the Helios 44M
Cloudbursts and sunshine...and rainbow bokeh! That's what makes me happy....shame I hadn't got the grass in proper focus but hey ho such is life ;-))
Spring has finally sprung! Thought it deserved a riot of colour to celebrate! Thanks Graham for the nudge!😉
Spring is almost upon us but it seems some Autumnal colour is still hanging on in there! Shot with the Helios 44M.
Got this musical crystal ball with two penguins from our local Safeway a couple years ago during its after-Christmas sales at 50% discount. I think it was well worth it.
Wish everyone have a Merry X'mas.

We had lovely weather the first half of our holidays in Copenhagen (København) until winter came back at the beginning of May
This was a windy day nonetheless - so it was a lot of fun getting the focus on the blossoms ;)
Taken at the municipal park "Østre Anlæg"
Happy Friday :)

Stacked 3.5" Internal Floppy Drives shot through stacked 52/1.5 Юпитер-3 Kiev and Raynox x0.66 Conversion lens. The Russian Jupiter's bubble-bokeh rainbow-ring detail thickness and colors are all increased dramatically with this combination. However to get close enough for macro, the needed 10mm tube introduced more softness from the hard light source and even more shallow depth of field. It's funny when your camera's focus peaking marks the artificial bokeh instead of the hard lines of the true physical object.
The typical "bubble bokeh" of the Meyer Goerlitz Trioplan 2.8/100, but in this case by the Diaplan 2.8/100 which has the same optical system.
Christmas sparkle is for brightening up the dark days ;-))

What room has no doors, no walls, no floor, and no ceiling?
Yes, a MUSHROOM! :)
I went for a hike this morning with my wife and she noticed this earthy mushroom hiding among the roots...actually, she found 3 stand-alone mushrooms during our hike. I called her the 'mushroom whisperer', lol.
