I always try to visit the old St Marx Cemetery in Vienna in late April or early May, when the lilacs are still blossoming and the chestnuts are coming into flower. The scent is overwhelming, and the atmosphere betwixt the overgrown gravestones with their curious inscriptions is one of peace and timelessness.

Vintage Pentacon GDR 2.8- 29 MC lens on a DSLR. Crabapple leaves popping open against a clear blue sky. Close in focus, major bokeh explosion. I love this lens for color contrast, it totally explodes! ISO 400, 1/1000 bright sun. Fotodiox M42 to Nikon F adaptor.
