This is how I feel sometimes. That I have a broken wing, that I can't fly away and do the best out of my life. I have to sit in the darkness, just trying to think or figure out what to do.
It's not so much in the sense of mood I feel like this, more of that I don't know what to do with my life. I don't know what to educate myself into. I don't have any specific goals yet I want to reach. Although still young I want and have the stress that I have to figure out now what to do, so I can start working towards that goal.
Now I just wander around, wasting my years of doing nothing.
And what I want to do? I don't know. I want so much. I want to travel, experience different cultures. I want to learn many languages. I want to be happy. I want do be a lawyer, a teacher, a photographer, a make-up artist, an actress, a writer, a historian, a chef, a owner of a café, of a hotel, of a own company. I want to be a ethnographer, a librarian, a sailor, an event manager for music and museums.
I want, I want, I want.
So much that I don't know what to direct my energy to.
The positive thing is that some of the education for some listed positions is free, but many of them also cost money, so that make me not want to waste money unless I'm 100% certain that is that I want to do.
Want want want back my broken wing.

This is an ANTIQUE Japanese parasol that was most likely used for traditional dancing. Unfortunately, this piece is quite broken hence the low price. The handle of this parasol has broken off and one piece of the handle is missing - still this can likely be repaired with some wood glue and a dowel. The protective cap at the top of the parasol also needs to be reattached. While this parasol cannot be used for much as is, I figured someone might be able to repurpose it for a cosplay or home decor. It can also be used as a pattern for someone interested in learning how these parasols can be made. This parasol also comes with a cloth bag.
As for other damages, there is some slight discolouration on the patterned portion of the umbrella that is caused by clear tape that was applied to the underside of the parasol. This discolouration is more apparent on the under side. There is also some writting on the bottom handle of the parasol that likely indicates which dancer this piece belonged to.

The XXII Triennale di Milano, Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival, consists of a thematic exhibition and several installations from international participants. It will run from March 1 to September 1, 2019. With the XXII edition, La Triennale di Milano reaffirms its decision to continue the tradition of the International Exhibition, the twenty-first edition of which was held in 2016 after a twenty-year hiatus.
The exhibition that gives the event its name and theme is curated by Paola Antonelli with Ala Tannir, Laura Maeran, and Erica Petrillo. The international participations will be solicited via official governmental channels.
The thematic exhibition Broken Nature will consist of three major commissions as well as numerous loans. An ambitious public program of events––with conferences, panels, workshops, screenings, and performances––for people of all ages will also complement the XXII Triennale.

Best performance of the entire festival in my opinion.

I just dug this up in my garden today. The Q-Tip is poked into the remains of the drilled hole.
I bet today's ultra-tough urethane resins could take the beating.
My heart is broken today. We just got the news my school will be closed. I guess, I was sorta of ok with me being let go. But now there will be over 280 families who have to look for a new Catholic School for their students. We have a good Academic Programs and great Athletic programs. Our students have won state championships. The latest one was the Girls Basketball Team. We had a chance to defend our title. Our football team won 7 state championships in a row. The only team in Illinois to do it. Our baseball team in constantly in the finals. Our softball team is great.
100% of of graduates go on to college. 17% of our Senior class was a Illinois State Scholars. Our ACT's scores are going up every year. Our average score is 23 when the public schools average score is 19 or 20.
I'm completely devastated.
My old analogue television broke whilst viewing a load of my images. This was a shame, as it meant no more TV, but also interesting in terms of the fuzzy, skewed images that came out. Here they are.

This was very difficult. The client needed a moonlight atmosphere of a sleeping woman and the look and feel of a crush paper. So I did my photos in the studio of the sleeping woman and the rest is digital painting... This was a ad for a medical theme of people with a liquid problem....
