I've changed my mind; this is the first image in my "Broken" series. The lovely model Minh-Thuy Nguyen (www.modelmayhem.com/2408743) suggested the concept of a broken angel, hence the wings. I find her expression incredibly haunting in this image, and perfect for the concept I had.

One of my x-rays from my radial head fracture.
This one was loads of fun to take. Had to do a little contortion in my chair to get this view.
This is an ANTIQUE Japanese parasol that was most likely used for traditional dancing. Unfortunately, this piece is quite broken hence the low price. The handle of this parasol has broken off and one piece of the handle is missing - still this can likely be repaired with some wood glue and a dowel. The protective cap at the top of the parasol also needs to be reattached. While this parasol cannot be used for much as is, I figured someone might be able to repurpose it for a cosplay or home decor. It can also be used as a pattern for someone interested in learning how these parasols can be made. This parasol also comes with a cloth bag.
As for other damages, there is some slight discolouration on the patterned portion of the umbrella that is caused by clear tape that was applied to the underside of the parasol. This discolouration is more apparent on the under side. There is also some writting on the bottom handle of the parasol that likely indicates which dancer this piece belonged to.

The XXII Triennale di Milano, Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival, consists of a thematic exhibition and several installations from international participants. It will run from March 1 to September 1, 2019. With the XXII edition, La Triennale di Milano reaffirms its decision to continue the tradition of the International Exhibition, the twenty-first edition of which was held in 2016 after a twenty-year hiatus.
The exhibition that gives the event its name and theme is curated by Paola Antonelli with Ala Tannir, Laura Maeran, and Erica Petrillo. The international participations will be solicited via official governmental channels.
The thematic exhibition Broken Nature will consist of three major commissions as well as numerous loans. An ambitious public program of events––with conferences, panels, workshops, screenings, and performances––for people of all ages will also complement the XXII Triennale.
Broken Social Scene rocked the Sasquatch Main Stage on May 29th, 2010 at the Sasquatch Music Festival.
Best performance of the entire festival in my opinion.

Remember Clackers? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clackers
I just dug this up in my garden today. The Q-Tip is poked into the remains of the drilled hole.
I bet today's ultra-tough urethane resins could take the beating.
I walked with my pockets full of beach glass and my sandals full of sand. I never could pass by something that was glittering in the sun.
My therapist wanted to know who the people are I admire most. I said you were one. And I cried for the whole hour. And I thought I was doing fine. I guess it was a relief to have one place, one person that knows it all. That's where I can be honest. My therapist knew anyway. My therapist says I'm brave. I think my therapist mistakes bravery for foolhardy.
She called me on the phone. She says he was dead. I can't say that I'm upset. Oh upset in the way that you are when you hear of anyone drinking themselves to death. I suspect she was relieved.
I think storms are moving in. As clouds blow in, the glass goes dull and become just broken pieces again.
My old analogue television broke whilst viewing a load of my images. This was a shame, as it meant no more TV, but also interesting in terms of the fuzzy, skewed images that came out. Here they are.
The Best Friend.
The background could've been better, but this was just a random shot that really wasn't meant to come out this way.

Made a road trip to my folks for Easter weekend... unpacked the little guy and his antenna was broken. He's clearly not too happy about it.
