I'm late with several topic for Our Daily Challenge so I spent the morning with something like a vocabulary lesson for 'Broken,' 'Juicy' and 'Alone.' Those visual definitions precede this in the stream.
Take a broken girl, treat her like a famous princess, give her the best seats in the house. Buy her coffee and cigarettes for the coming down, books and bathroom things for the days ahead. Tell her something true when all she's known are lies. Tell her God loves her. Tell her about forgiveness, the possibility of freedom, tell her she was made to dance in white dresses. All these things are true.

The text says:
"These fragments of old glass formerly filled the upper tier of the East window.
A German land-mine with parachute attached was dropped in a field between the church and the river at 9:20 in the evening of 16th September 1940. The explosion shattered the windows, displaced roof tiles and shook down plaster throughout the church. All adjacent houses suffered in the same way, but no one was hurt.
This inscription has been placed here in thankfulness to GOD for our merciful deliverance and in memory of William Grenville Boyd, Vicar 1938-1941, who collected and began arranging the old glass."

The 'presents' I found inside my differential housing upon removing the back cover. No freaking wonder it was making such a racket. Is there a ring gear tooth fairy? Pinion Gear tooth fairy? Differential repair genie? I hope so....
I love this cup a lot sadly I had broken it. It was the second one, again I need to look for the offer from Nescafe again.
July 02, 2019 - Over the weekend my wife and I had a flat on one of our cars. Yesterday I had the tire plugged. Today I had the tire stud replaced because it was cross threaded. The tire shop left the old tire stud and lug in the cup holder. I decided for something different my photo today would be the broken parts.
The room is dark and empty,
Dust fills the air,
Where once there was joy and light...
Now cobwebs gather here
Where there was once such life
Memories lie cold and dead
On the hard floor of passing time
Once your voice rang in this room
Talking the time away....
Yet, I can no longer hear your words
Now resides mute silence here
Crying out day and night
