The new second coffee spot from Brew Lab in the west end of Edinburgh. Loved the confident design with all the strip lights as features, the neon, minimal palette and modern "mecano" furniture. I got slightly caught up with drawing the roof rather than than the customers like I'd normally do,

T&R Theakston Ltd. was founded in 1827 by Robert Theakston and John Wood at The Black Bull pub and brewhouse in Masham. By 1832 Theakston had sole ownership of the brewery and in 1875 he passed control over to his son Thomas who expanded the range of buildings by building the new brewery on the Paradise Fields.

Monday Night Brewing loves Bryan Adams. They have a life-size cutout of the Canadian in their office wearing a medal they earned at the National US Beer Open for their Belgian-style Wit beer, Fu Manbrew. He caught my eye as soon as I stepped into their new space, which is basically a construction site at the moment. This is a huge step for them, considering when I first met up with them 18 months ago they were brewing out of a garage. One third of the original team, Jonathan Baker, gave me a tour and got me up to date on this exciting time in his company’s beer voyage. We also witnessed his dog climb a ladder, which was a first.

Found my tiny TTartisan 17mm f/1.4 manual focus lens. Pretty good for an ultra budget lens. I've always been impressed with every Chinese lens I've bought. They might not be perfect but they offer a tremendous bang for the buck and produce images that are way higher quality than any cost involved.
On the way back from Bandon I drove all the way up 101, hoping for a last hurrah shot of my weekend and decided to once again look for this giant water sucking hole. I have looked for “Witches Brew” a few times, but the tide was not right to expose this cool little gem. Well, as I scouted over the wall and saw it plain as day I was excited!
I will reconfirm what others have said, it is very intense to shot his location! The tide was a bit high and I watched it for a bit to try and get the timing down. After many of shots and wiping my lens dry repeatedly, I was finally knocked clean off my feet by a sneaker wave, of course my arm stretched high to keep my camera dry. With a lot of funny looks from on lookers I made my way to my car soaking wet, thank god for a suite case full of dry cloths….
