72/365 Getting things together for brewing an extract brew. Never brewed on an electric stove before, so I wasn’t sure if it would work. It did. Just.

Brewing fresh ground coffee. Watch it "bloom." That's the natural oils that get sucked out by a filter the way most people drink it. It makes the coffee much more rich to leave it in.

While recently visiting Sweden, picked up a large mug just right for myself, at the Gamla Linköping outdoor museum area.
Since arriving from Canada at the age of 10 to Finland in 1973 (for the first round), I was taught to drink tea, by a nice hat-maker and artist in Nokia (yes, the birthtown of Nokia products).. Ever since, Tea and myself have become inseparable. White, green, yellow, red black tea, double-fermented, herbal brews, all are welcome and highly regarded as invigorators, calmers, and as a whole, a trusted life companion. May death only us part.

Lesson learned: don't wear jeans, and have ample weather protection for my camera because an umbrella is another piece of equipment to fumble around with in the wind and rain.
