Delicious vegan banana bread - you'd never guess it's low fat and whole wheat! Recipe from Veganomicon

Based on Peter Reinhart's sourdough formula from Breadbaker's Apprentice. I used half a cup of rye flour in the final bread dough; the rest was King Arthur bread flour.

Notes: My selections from the many on the bread tray. These were extremely buttery with wonderful flavor. Totally addictive! I polished both off and when offered seconds, I chose the rosemary-lack olive again and the tomato.

As I "studied" the menu, the staffs served some Grissini and Sourdough bread accompanied by Seaweed and Bordier plain butter - they were good

The bread bowls that Rika baked were filled with yummy chicken mushroom stew, which she cooked as filling from scratch. She was inspired by a similar stew she ate at The soup spoon, Raffles shopping centre.
