I bought this thinking, "since it looks so nice, it should be delicious." I was so wrong! The bread tasted so weird, that after a bite, i threw into the rubbish bin.
Flannery has determined that all the store bought bread is either too expensive or has too much crap (fat, hydroginated oil, high fructose corn syrup, . . . ). So, she decided to make her own. So far we have been treated to pita bread and baguettes, oh my. The whole wheat sandwich bread may never happen.
The bread bowls that Rika baked were filled with yummy chicken mushroom stew, which she cooked as filling from scratch. She was inspired by a similar stew she ate at an eatery.
Crunchy with toasted sunflower seeds, this hearty bread tastes good for breakfast as well as dinner. The amount of rye flower is not very high, resulting in a fluffy crumb. This bread rises exceptionally well - what a nice surprise!

OOPS, still has 49 minutes left to rise! I tried to fudge an 8.1 quart container instead of the suggested 9-10 quarts and it's obviously too small! LOL
I wanted to see if I could make those bread bowls, like the ones they have at Panera. So, I found a simple recipe online at The Fresh Loaf. They turned out more like mini bread bowls, but they made a filling dinner, filled with some black beans mixed with garlic, onion, olive oil, tomatoes, salt & pepper.
