226 - Cool Yellow / Bright Light Yellow
2x4's are quite common. 2x8 and 2x6 are harder to find and to make it even harder they often get confused with Light Yellow.
I think 11th June 1988 was one of those Network Days(?). That might explain how I managed to afford to get to Bristol for this pair of beasts on the outward, via Salisbury and a right load of 'porridge', without spending more than a week's wages in fares! IIRC the high 'saver' fare Birmingham - Paignton was extortionate.
Whatever, 31131 leads 31206 away from Exeter St David's with 1M65, the 17:17 Paignton - Manchester. They'd absolutely stormed on the way down. It was a baking hot day and the big air-con rake had not had any power for at least six hours. Stuffy was one word to describe the interior.
Just as the temperature naturally fell in the early evening the pair were ripped at Bristol for a big EH duff! I was on my way back home by that time, with 50029 into Waterloo - its train is in the background, left of the above shot.

No último dia 07 de Abril de 2013 foi celebrado no Santuário São Miguel Arcanjo de Bandeirantes-PR o Domingo da Misericórdia e à convite do Padre Roberto Medeiros, o Padre Marcelo Gonçalves da Silva, da Comunidade Servos da Misericórdia de Ponta Grossa-PR conduziu esse dia com pregações e orações. O encerramento se deu com a Santa Missa às 15 horas e uma multidão de pessoas participaram.
OBS: A primeira missa realizada no Santuário São Miguel Arcanjo, ainda em construção aconteceu no dia 11 de Abril de 2010 (dia do Domingo da Misericórdia)

A set of three Mk1 Corridor Seconds, built for a commission from Just Like The Real Thing 7mm scale kits. Plenty of extra details added. I painted the finished models, and the client lettered them after delivery.
BR Standard Mk.4 SO(e) No.12212 of Virgin Trains East Coast, built by Metro-Cammell (Saltley) in 1989, Lot 31047, rebuilt by Bombardier (Wakefield) in 2004; at King's Cross, 12 September 2015.
In the original post 63A bothy on Plat.4 are L-R Dvr Charlie "Chick" Oswald (long time LDC"B" man), Dvr Norris Evans and Dvr Eddie Kerr. Looks very like Dvr Peter Lafferty sitting with back to photographer (Raymond Irving).
The calendar is either 1983 or 1988. It must be '88 as there are soft chairs..
Note the "Engines Assurance Fund" board (EAF, organised by Jimmy Edwards), teapots and door to locker room on right.
This is East Coast HST set 254029.
This set was set aside as the last and final East Coast Mainline working a farewell tour. It was fully painted in the historic first ever BR HST livery, when new, with coaches painted to match, including the colored strips depicting first class (yellow) and buffet car (red).

It's seen here in the dark abyss, haven just joined the Edinburgh Sub line. It was sent round the sub line to bypass Haymarket station, which was closed due to improvement works.

Seguindo a indicação de um amigo, saímos de moto com o objetivo de passar por um caminho até agora desconhecido para nós. A partir da BR 040, uma estradinha à direita, depois da fábrica da Mercedes, nos ligaria à estrada do Náutico.
Estranhamos o excesso de sinalização, de placas de velocidade máxima, piquetes, marcações, avisos, num lugar tão escondido.
Demorou nadinha e nos descobrimos diante das obras da BR 440. Na verdade, dentro delas. E bem que tentamos seguir, mas não deu: uma descida abrupta e lá embaixo uma parte encharcada foram obstáculos convincentes.
Voltamos para tomar a rota "oficial" em direção ao Clube Náutico e, antes de chegar a ele, à esquerda, a "Pedra Branca" era a opção. O itinerário incluía passar pela bela fazenda do Continente até Grama.
Mas o dia hoje realmente nos reservou o impacto de assistir a BR 440 cortando tudo à nossa frente. Lá estava ela de novo, serrando uma das paisagens mais lindas dos arredores de JF.
Nós que nos habituamos às pequenas passagens secretas, às trilhas pouco conhecidas, não pudemos não nos chocar com a visão da serpente deixando seu rastro em forma de feridas avermelhadas sobre o tapete verde das pastagens. Por sorte, a velha "Continente" permanecerá preservada, porque o traçado ficou atrás da sede.
Resta torcer para que muitas árvores sejam plantadas às margens da nova BR e que ela cumpra sua função da melhor maneira, para compensar o estrago na paisagem.

Im Jahr 1971 vergrößerte sich der Bestand der BR 329, als eine 1952 von Klöckner-Humboldt-Deutz gebaute zweiachsige Lokomotive von der Inselbahn Juist zunächst leihweise von der DB für die Wangerooger Bahn übernommen wurde. Ein Jahr später wurde die zwischenzeitlich als 329 504 bezeichnete Maschine schließlich von der DB gekauft. Auch hier erfolgte der Antrieb durch einen KHD-Motor über ein Voith-Getriebe mit integriertem Wendegetriebe auf eine Blindwelle.

BR Mk.IIIa FO No.11048 in debranded Virgin livery as it had been handed back to Porterbrook Leasing when Pendolios were introduced to replace loco-hauled trains, but (with others) hired back to Virgin to replace a Pendolino written-off in the Grayrigg crash. Built by BREL (Derby) 1976. At Euston 07/08.
