As I already explained in my previous image of similar title, this is what is going on in this Northern Paradise. We passed by watching in horror and pushing the accelerator to the very bottom to get away from this madness as fast as possible. ... Call me selfish, call me a friggin individualist, but I will NEVER stand in a line experiencing such places in a melee ;)
Needless probably to add that their two minibuses were almost blocking a very narrow road while about 500 metres further there was a parking lot! Gosh I hate this new photographic vandalism!

Im Januar 2019 spielte das Wetter mal wieder im perfekten Sinne mit. Genau zur Abfahrt des Steinsalzers von Baalberge nach Wismar zog über Bernburg eine dunkle Schneefront auf, die immer weiter nach Baalberge zog. Kurz bevor das Licht aus ging beschleunigte 233-285 endlich den Steinsalzer aus Baalberge raus Richtung Köthen und konnte in einer Weltuntergangsstimmung aufgenommen werden.

Was ist besser als ein Frühstück am Samstag Morgen? Genau! Eine 115 mit PBZ vorm Frühstück.
Heute konnte ich nach langer Zeit wieder mal die schöne 115 350 vor dem PBZ 2453 von Hamburg nach Dortmund bewundern. Dieser bestand heute ausschließlich aus IC Wagen.

In the last week of loco-hauled Trans Pennine expresses, 47597 after a signal check accelerates east with the 11.25 Liverpool - Newcastle.
Five days later 47597 was to haul the last west bound 'Pennine' and the 158 DMU's took over on the Monday.

After hours of crossing barren, wild and rough Icelandic landscapes it is always a highlight to return to its coasts like here when we travelled from Patreksfjordur in the Westfjords to Kirkjufell. The bay you see to the right is basically formed by the neck between Westfjords and Snaefellsnes peninsula.
