Die starken Dieselmotoren der Baureihe 218 brummen auch noch im Jahre 2021 im alten und verwahrlosten Kopfbahnhof Stuttgart Hbf., der schon bald durch den Neubau ersetzt wird, an dem schon seit vielen Jahren fleissig gebaut wird.
Mit etwas Fotografenglück konnten am 18. November 2021 noch einmal verschiedene Impressionen verewigt werden, die schon bald Geschichte sein werden.
Die "NeSA" 218 155-0 zusammen mit einer nicht erkennbaren
BR 218 kurz nach ihrer Ankunft.

This picture was taken on the Caledonian Railway which runs from Brechin to Bridge of Dun. This is a picture of class 26 number 26035 which is undergoing restoration. This image reminded me of going round Scottish Sheds 30+ years ago walking between lines of locomotives.

Bo'ness Railway
With a very busy Summer Diesel Gala underway with lots of guest locomotives as well as the local Bo'ness Fleet.
British Railways Rat 25235 wasn't taking part and would be all alone confined to the yard under strict instructions not to venture out!!. #D7585 25235 was pictured looking all furlorn whilst awaiting future refurbisment.
