The Marechal Rondon Highway, BR-364, runs 1550 km from Porto Velho to Cuiabá in Mato Grosso. This section of highway was recently paved - something that hugely benefits local people through improved access to education and healthcare - but it also increases pressure on forests.

This model of Bristol allocated B954568 20 Ton CAR brake van was inspired by a photo uploaded by "BristolRE" taken in 1980. Although not visible in the photo I have also added half a pallet on the bufferbeam, presumably to be used as firewood for the stove.

The box was opened in 1956 and is fitted with a 25 lever frame. It works to Ulverston on the west side and Arnside on the east. Number 10 lever is the down line Intermediate block signal, effectively taking the place of Plumpton box which closed in 2000.

British Rail Class 50, 50049 Defiance with 50007 Hercules backing onto the coaches ready to take the Caledonian from Crewe to Glasgow Central, taken 7th October 2017
As pointed out to me by Lord Legoman on this picture, ( www.flickr.com/photos/55973205@N08/10546229675/ ) I can easily create a BR class 47 instead of Class 60's. So fiddled with it, and here they are, complete with BR blue scheme (made possible by set 60044's blue train 28-long baseplate) with yellow cabs and proper 3 axle bogies.
I have also kept the blue and gray scheme in the frame, as this is the one I will use on my layout.
