Simple blessings can be found when you see the world through the right lens. My wife does many little things to give a warm feel to our home. Here a rag doll lit by a single candle sits on our dresser.

Buddhism exists side-by-side with, and to some extent intermingles with, pre-Buddhist animism and Brahman practices. Blessing ceremonies to ward off evil spirits and bad luck are carried out both by Buddhist monks and Brahmins.

Blessing is the daughter of Dr K Ingabo, from Rwanda; she is 23, 5' 8" with black hair and black eyes. A first year medical student at the Universoty of Rwanda, till the death of her father, the Chief Personal Adviser to the former Head of State.
The man on the left was possessed by some kind of spirit and the guy on the right was seeking his blessing.

We're not actually blessing the sun, but rather blessing G!d, for the sun's continuous presence. Birkat haHama reminds us that our lives function within the larger cycles of nature and the earth.

Most Rev. David J. Walkowiak, bishop of Grand Rapids, joined the St. John Paul II parish community to bless and dedicate their new church on Dec. 1, 2019, the first Sunday of Advent. The dedication took place during the 10:30 a.m. Sunday Mass at the new church (3110 17 Mile Road, Cedar Springs), the first Mass celebrated inside the new church building. More than 350 people attended including parishioners, clergy and other guests.
