"The moment you start acting like life is a blessing,
it starts feeling like one."
Sunshine filtering through the leaves of the trees in our local woods.
This was the view of sunset outside my west facing window last night. Years ago, there was a woods across the street from my home, then developers took down the majority of trees and built homes. I was really upset when that happened. But afterwards, I realized I could see sunsets from my front window. So overall, the view of trees lost was replaced by seeing glorious sunsets.
Testing Aldis Anastigmat 8.5cm f2.5 slide projection lens - less contrast, flares a lot and creates bubble type bokeh.
In the midst of so many mossy stones and water, a small bridge becomes a blessing.

Receiving flowers as a gift is a double blessing. The beauty fills one's house for days and offer up vast opportunities for photo sessions. While admiring my orange Daylily flowers, I noticed bright pollen had fallen to the surface of a leaf. "Love is beauty and beauty is truth, and that is why in the beauty of a flower we can see the truth of the universe."

and a Spicebush Swallowtail butterfly out front in God's garden yesterday ... sipping on the Pentas.
Sunlight fell and reminded me that life can be so gracious sometimes
And I felt like everything around me was connected somehow
At night I hear the rhythm of the ocean as it breaks on the shore
And I think about all the things that I am grateful for
And they say, hold on to the ones you love
Keep 'em close to you
And they say, hold on to this time we have
And let the light shine through
Sometimes I get a little bit emotional when I see love unfold
Two hearts bound by reflections of the memories they'll forever hold
And they say, hold on to the ones you love
Keep 'em close to you
And they say, hold on to this time we have
And let the light shine through
There are blessings all around you
Open up your eyes
Feel the sunlight fall upon you
Let it free your mind
There are blessings all around you
Take a step outside
Let your heart shine in a new light
See it come alive
And they say, hold on to the ones you love
Keep 'em close to you
And they say, hold on to this time we have
And let the light shine through

“Not what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving.”
