Domestic, international, and autos just hook em' all together and see what happens.
Union Pacific 7455 lays on the horn, as it and the 5579 blast past a coyote crossing alongside Rancho Road, as the milepost numbers dwindle lower and lower. This North Platte Blend, Nebraska to Oakland, California intermodal trains is getting closer to Roseville, where the final road crew will jump on for it's last leg of it's run.
This train and a few others have a companion video available follow the rabbit hole here: youtu.be/lCf_t2-Jmfo
With winter approaching, I designed a way to help Ukraine take out Russian drones.

Created with Blender.
This all serves a purpose, as I want to make something particular in Blender but first I have some considerable learning to do.
It is pretty awesome that this is free software.
Nothing like a steep learning curve that has you almost vertical. More than a handful of false starts but with very little determent. Got to animate it next. I love this! And I can only get better!

Thank you for watching :-)
A few of you may remember that I made an A-wing over a year ago. And I won't say it was bad, just that my building technique has changed quite a bit from that point (Here is a link, if you want to compare).

Now, with a new style, and understanding of both GIMP and Blender, here is a WIP version.
I am still working on my rendering accuracy, trying to achieve that realistic look.
Also thanks to Marius for explaining his after-burner technique, quite simple yet really good. You can see his awesome ships here:

Thanks for Looking!
♡

100% low poly, made and rendered in Eevee (Blender) (with viewport render).
Firing a phaser is fairly easy to make: set up a bezier curve, apply a physical constraint to a cylinder to follow the curve, and insert the necessary keyframes in the timeline.
For the "world" shader I used a star map from NASA (credits: NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio. Constellation figures based on those developed for the IAU by Alan MacRobert of Sky and Telescope magazine (Roger Sinnott and Rick Fienberg)).)
Can you spot the Big Dipper?
It took me a while to figure out how to set this up. In the world sharder editor: use a texture coordinate - mapping - environment texture. Connect the "camera" of the texture coordinate to the vector of the mapping node and in the scale options of the mapping node, set X and Y to 3 (leave Z at 1).
Connect the "color out" of the environment texture to a "RGB to BW" node, and feed this into a RGB curve node. Then drag this curve down to get rid of all the noise.
Connect the output of the RGB curve node to the color of the background node and connect the latter to the surface of the world output, as usual.

The instant camera is a type of camera which uses self-developing film to create a chemically developed print shortly after taking the picture. Polaroid Corporation pioneered (and patented) consumer friendly instant cameras and film, and were followed by various other manufacturers.
