Bleeding Heart (Lamprocapnos spectabilis) flowers during the Spring and Early Summer with pendant shaped flowers. Here is a Macro shot of the flowers, which start of small but get larger further down the stem.

This was so much fun, but fake blood hurts when it gets in your eye.

This is one of my favorite flowers along with the Columbine. I estimated here are about 300 flowers on this Bleeding Hearts Plant.

Tired of seeing photos from my garden? Sorry. I'm just SO excited about it.

My bleeding hearts are now closing in on the end of their blooming season. It seems like they just started! I think these flowers are the most unique flowers.

THIS PLANT IS CALLED THE BLEEDING HEART. IT COMES IN ALL DEEP RED BUT THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VARIETY. I MADE THE SHOT WITH MY CANON 7D AND THE 100MM F/2.8 LENS AND THE THREE EXTENSION TUBES FOR 4.5X. THANKS TO THOSE WHO VIEW, COMMENT AND FAV MY PHOTOS

Makes a good desktop wallpaper.

Done in pencil (might scan again later since I fixed my scanner) My uncle requested something like this a long time ago, well a few months. I don't know why, but i like how I did the style. I guess its that "chaos factor" My uncle and I were talking about.

This is a different variety of bleeding hearts, but I've been unable to pin down a name for them. They're a little paler than the old-fashioned variety, and they custer differently on the stem

Exotic birds today at Feathery Friday. I first saw these remarkable doves at the Honolulu Zoo and was delighted to find them at the Brevard County Zoo this winter. I gasped the first time I saw one and have to admit even when I recognized them there was a momentary concern.

I can never isolate these things in the yard with a non distracting background. Boredom led me to bring a chunk inside. :)
