Bleeding Heart in Green Cove Ravine. Catchment of the southern Salish Sea.

I'm lovin' this new Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM lens and Canon Rebel Xsi/450 D camera!

: )

This bleeding heart plant thrives in early spring and summer. I planted it about 6 years ago when we moved into our house. It's getting HUGE, just popped out a couple of weeks ago. More pics to follow of it probably, maybe some macros with my kit lens. The flowers are intentionally out of focus, having fun with dof.

One of 2 - the afternoon light was kind to these amazing looking flowers.

white flowering tree and bleeding hearts blooming now and watching for all the wildflowers coming back around the backwood

There are also 2 Dunstan Chestnut trees planted at far back planted 2019 and they are coming back - Mature trees produce from 50 - 100 pound of chestnuts and when they do, will share with my friends around the wood 😁 also will plant more desirable native trees of my choice along the stretch

it actually looks pretty good...

Our heavy Spring snowfall killed off my daffodils and damaged my tulips, but the bleeding heart plant managed to survive and thrive.

When the gas fitter came last week he said that I should bleed the radiators a week later - so that's what I'm doing. Air did come out of one.

Happy Mother's Day--so of course this is for my Mom. But it is also for my Dad--they will understand why. Have a great day Everyone.

Para tentar não pensar na saudade que ia em mim eu fiz isso , tentem descobrir como :D
