I've always liked Bleeding Hearts. These are planted on the hill in back of our home and were hanging down over the wall. I received an all white flower Bleeding Heart for Mother's Day. I need to get it planted! I think I do prefer the colored ones, however. I thought these might have been one of our native plants as they do so well in the shade that we have here, but Wikapedia said they were from another country.

I've recently fallen in love with this flower called 'Bleeding hearts' (Latin: Dicentra spectabilis, Polish: Serduszka okazała). So this spring I bought one and planted in my garden. And it bloomed ! I'm so happy and now I want another one in different colour <3 Josie seems to be also interested in these beautiful flowers :)

One legend staes that a man was hung from the tree and it has been bleeding ever since. It also states that it will continue to bleed until a Welshman sits on the throne at Nevern Castle.

We had a morning rain and I could not resist the subdued light on my neighbors Bleeding Heart. I don't know which one I like best.
