Already blooming, so much earlier than Northern Ontario.

I can't believe I planted such last year and it's blooming this year already, to my surprise. Well, my daughter in law helped me plant it, she loves gardening. :-))

I used to have this plant in my old garden. After I planting & watering it every day, a month later, it was gone. I asked my hubby what happened? Guess what? he thought it was weeds that he yanked it out. Good thing he didn't take out the entire roots that it did come back next year and very much alive.

Today I found one of these at the nursery, I love such, will plant it again in the garden I've been planing to create at where I live now.

Caught my eye in this public garden where all the color and greenery enhances a beautiful fountain...

"Spring in KC"

From my photowalk around Nelson Atkins and Kauffman Gardens from yesterday. I was hoping to get a few water droplets on the tulips from the rains we've been experiencing. Some of the flower beds around the tulips have really come into their own adding some mix to the frame. It was also nice to see a field trip happening at the museum. Normal feels good.

Find your love with your heart not with your eyes.

Have a beautiful, day my friends.*_-

Dicentra spectabilis (dy-SEN-truh, speck-TAB-ih-liss) is a pretty herbaceous perennial hailing from Japan, Korea, Siberia, and China.. It is a popular plant in colder areas of the United States because it can tolerate harsh winters and make a colorful and welcome comeback early in the springtime, year after year.

Such a delicate dance the bleeding hearts do...

Macro Bleeding Heart shot! I love this pretty and delicate blooms!

Because I had six frames left on the film, I came up with the idea of photographing flowers. Of course you can't see the great colors in B&W - but I was curious about the results.

The film was a T-Max 400 - not ideal for the sunshine that day, especially since my Graflex lens only goes to 1/200s. So I had to close the aperture more than I would have liked. But the results were ok.
