A bit of commercial marketing photography i did for my mate Rich - his folks are farmers in Goodmanham in the Yorkshire Wolds, and they've rebuilt the cowsheds into a really fantastic holiday cottage.
We (me and my girlfriend) stayed here for a weekend in exchange for the photography and had an ace time - beautiful views of countryside and farmland from the windows, chocolate-box-pretty village, and the farm is sat on the popular Wolds Way walking route, so perfect for a bit of exploring.
I was stunned at how beautiful the cottage was - they've done an amazing job on it with a really hi-spec finish, with disabled access etc.

The prime motivator to get out in the "not rain" was a chance that we might locate the bittern who has been an almost regular in Richmond. This one was very calm and obliging and we made the most out of the opportunity.
Air temp was okay, but there was a wind straight out of the north that felt like thrown needles. I'm not usually a whiner but ow.

This is a Millers Falls no 182 bit brace, originally made for corner work. As almost always, this item misses it's extendable handle. This brace is in good condition with only slight loss of nickel plating. We can all agree that the small fidgety pawls that sets the direction of the ratchet mechanism isn't the easiest to use. But having used more than twenty different bit braces, this one has one of the best chucks I've seen. The Leland universal jaws will swallow absolutely everything you feed it with and it will grip it tight. Top handle features very nicely spinning ball bearings. A quality bit brace.
