A bit late in the day for a Fly day Friday submission, but I've been in work. This fly was on a fence sunning itself at Rogiet Community Parkland, Monmouthshire. I'm no good at what I refer to as "Things with wings", so any help with identification would be much appreciated.

Bearing Warsaw Pact-era Polish Air Force markings, this two-seater version of the MiG-21 ‘Fishbed’ has found a resting place outside a Plant City FL junkyard.
This item was outside the Laurel Packinghouse & Orchand Museum in Kelowna. Probably dating from the 1940s it is a type of juice press.
Although this farm seems to concentrate on growing tea, they also have pineapples, taro and betel nut palms all in the same area.
I'm the kind of person who saves any pretty little thing if I think I'll ever re use it someday. My next bracelet has parts from multiple old pieces of jewelry. So glad I saved them... If anyone out there in the world sees this post and has old bits that might be useful that you don't want... Let me know.

Bit of a strange request today as one of the Sixth Form students knocked at my office and asked if I would go to the Common Room to photograph a giant spider.
As it turns out, a bunch of the kids had really gone to town decorating their table for Halloween, which had ended up with a gigantic (three feet wide) spider above it, complete with intricate web.
This small plastic spider was just a tiny detail from the overall work.
Crazy kids. ;)
