Daylight is getting longer... Trains are roaring and running one after another through valleys, hills, and steppe. Our 2024 first summer group tour is going along the Trans-Mongolian railway's northern and central parts, including industrial branch lines 👍

This image was capture just over a week ago at at a local woodland. The image depicts the Milky Way travelling across the night sky.
This was not the first location I had in mind prior to heading out. The decision to head to a nearby hill and finally capture the image, that for months had in mind would turn out having to wait a little longer, due to the wind and the cold due to it.
After being tempted by some new locations I decided to head to a nearby woodland, which was much calmer. I arrived not long before 2am and packed up sometime before 4am. In that time I had seen a meteor and a orange flash of light, which I did manage to capture.
Hopefully this image is the first of many. It was good to get out and be under the stars.
One of our absolute favourite photos, which we'd never posted until now. Happy 'Roid Week!

Polaroid SLR 680, Polaroid 600 Film. Taken just about three years ago.
When considering now,
it was when sad history is started day.
But I cannot forget the beautiful day when that girl met me.
Even if everybody will forget that girl , I do not forget she's tender smile.
I wish a minstrel chants her loudly at least.

Bryce Canyon National Park is an American national park located in southwestern Utah, which despite its name, is not a canyon, but a collection of giant natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Bryce is distinctive due to geological structures called hoodoos. Hoodoos exist on every continent, but here is the largest concentration found anywhere on Earth. Bryce Canyon National Park, while smaller than nearby Zion National Park, sits at a higher elevation, with the rim at Bryce varying from 8,000 to 9,000 feet.
"A fern unfurls in the quiet forest, each delicate frond a symbol of new beginnings—reminding us that even in the shadows, life finds a way to bloom anew."
When you look at the squirrels ears, you see that it is quite stormy this days ;) Those animals are so funny! Hope you have better weather than we have at the moment. Happy Spring everybody!

I've been reading about different techniques to use a French press. Most of them miss the point. It's not rocket science.
There might have been things I missed
But don't be unkind
It don't mean I'm blind
Perhaps there's a thing or two
I think of lying in bed
I shouldn't have said
But there it is
You see it's all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning
Maybe I might have changed
And not been so cruel
Not been such a fool
Whatever was done is done
I just can't recall
It doesn't matter at all
You see it's all clear
You were meant to be here
From the beginning

It's no secret that the City of San Francisco is indeed quite Imperial in regards to its sophistication, which is unmatched by Los Angeles and other West-Coast cities; mesmerizing, which its fog, skyline and bridges offer picturesque views to leave a lifelong impression of positive vibes; and its economy, which maintains SF as a top-tier [media, tech, maritime, and financial] center. This photo is from the ol' archives, so I hope you enjoy it.
