Beginning Fall: I dug out one og my older cameras - just because I didn't want to carry a lot. So I came across that 60mm APSC lens, that I don't use a lot. Today that seemed to be a good choice, I got some nice shots although it was a walk with my partner, and she does not like to wait an hour until I have finished my composition ... ;-) I'm sure many photographers know that.
Here we are at Chicago O'Hare waiting for our flight. Five students and a chaperone (who is taking the picture) flew with me to Germany, and three other students joined us a few days later.
In preparation for a 3-week trip to Africa in June, I'm reviving a long dormant interest in photography. My buddies, Pookie and Schnookie, donated the camera, The General, to the cause. The General is sporting the camera strap my mom used for many years and is now anxiously awaiting his lens. I'm hoping participating in Project 365 and 113 in 2013 will push me to really mess around with the camera. I especially want to work on the things listed. Because did I mention I'm going to Africa?
