Beginning the long descent back to sea level

The first flowers on one of my tomato plants. This is my third attempt at growing them. The first year I tried, I ended up having emergency back surgery and couldn't keep up with anything, and last year I was too busy filming.

I'm hoping for a good batch of fresh salsa or fresh tomato sauce (or both!) this year.

So what possessed me to Buy this Humble Cottage in the middle of nowhere. I fell in love with it from the outset. It was going to be an enormous challenge, especially clearing the site of overgrown trees and weeds. In addition the roof was in a poor state and substantial dampness was evident. This said, the previous owners had owned the property for over 30 years, they too loved it and a fair and reasonable price was agreed. I had 30 years to renovate so here goes. (Although i probably went to fast at the start)

The room is finally cleaned out. We got the crib. The lighter green in the right is the pile of 1x3's we've painted and will be using as a border.

Beginning Weaving
