E is for enormous. This is the best I can do today. we were out all day and I didn't know what the challenge was. This is the picture that suits the challenge best. I could put up a picture of Ella ( My daughter) but she wasn't very cooperative today.
"For last year's words belong t last year's language and next year's words await another voice." ~ TS Eliot.
This picture took it's form because of a self portraiture challenge group. But it perfectly fitted in for this personal series called Nebulous.
Northwest's Department of Fine and Performing Arts produced “New Beginnings,” a series of short plays and monologues, as its annual Freshman/Transfer Showcase Oct. 2-6, 2013. The showcase introduces audiences to Northwest’s new theater students, while introducing new performing arts majors to the people and practices of Northwest’s theater program. The beginning. I'm looking for a really saturated red look in totally scrappy blocks. This will be the fourth time I've made this same pattern and I've enjoyed it every time. Interesting, I was originally trying to make something like the crocheted Babette Blankets, so I figured out all of my sizes based on the precuts have I have in my scraps. After I made the first quilt top, "The Square Family Reunion", all colors of scrappy, someone said that it was like Kaffee Fassett's Jeweled Squares. When I looked up some history on that, it appears that the Babette blankets were inspired by the Kaffee quilt! Funny how it all goes back and forth :) The second top I made from this pattern was in orange and pink and the third in neutrals and light blue.
These trees are really mysterious. Nobody knows about their developement and growing. It seems to be a mutation. For me this Dwarf Beech Avenue (with about 30 trees) in Bad Nenndorf, Germany is a magic forest. You do not have the impression being alone for one second. Always there is something ... around you ...
Sposed to stay up and help a friend do some silly youtube commentary gameplay, so I'm modding stuff to stay awake.

Monday, 28 August 2023: Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC) Fairbanks Yard Job is headed back Railroad South to Fairbanks Yard. Here they are about 7 miles into their 28 mile trip and have just passed MP G21 before sweeping around this curve and under the Richardson Highway. Although not even September the leaves are already starting to turn up on the North End. Within a few weeks fall will be in full swing and the hills will be many colors of yellow and orange for their twice a week trips to Eielson. 2023 marks 70 years of operation for Eielson’s Central Heat and Power Plant with it coming online in 1953.
Leading the train on this day was 2005 and 2003 both GP38-2’s originally built for the Pen Central. Built in 1969 they were later absorbed by Conrail before coming up the the Last Frontier in 1986. Still in the 1980’s Alaska Bold scheme these two are no stranger to the North End. The Crew would go on to pull one load from K&K Recycling before getting into Fairbanks Yard and calling it a day.

Very frustrating taking shots of the eclipse tonite. Conditions were horrible with light rain, and too many clouds. These are the best I could do. Enjoy!
