Fiber Collage by seven year old Emie and myself. Emie drew the picture and helped me with the embroidery and the beading. She loved beading the fringe and became fairly proficient at it, but not yet independent.

Heavy rain last night left these water drops on the hood of my car this morning.
If you look closely you can see my lens hood in the drops.
Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII the infamous and powerful king of Britain. Her daughter with Henry VIII subsequently became Elizabeth I, the Virgin Queen.
Anne, newly returned from the court of France was famous for her beauty and glamourous French fashion. She caught the eye of Henry VIII who courted her as his mistress. However, Anne held out for the ultimate prize, to be his Queen. So enamoured with Anne was Henry that he broke with the Catholic church and divorced his first wife, Katherine of Aragon so that he may marry Anne.
One of Anne’s favourite jewels are pearls. The Anne Boleyn necklace is a tribute to the tragic Anne who sadly lost her head when Henry’s passion for her waned. A filigree like net captures a beautiful sparkling crystal. From the crystal are suspended the signature three pearl drops. The necklace is reminiscent of the Tudor ornate style with pearls and crystals captured by beautiful little seed beads.

This beadwoven ring sparkles!! Tsavorite, a gemstone found in Africa, surrounds this large green sparkly Swarovski crystal rivoli. I used delicas and seed beads to weave a frame around the crystal, then added the delicate fringe. I am awaiting your ring size to finish the ring band.

Raindrops on a shiny new black car, with muscly curvvacious lines, spotted when I went out to get lunch. The straight verandah above is reflected into a parabola by the car curviness. And if you look hard, you can see my iPhone reflelted down on the bottom.

Fairly tidy compared to normal, mostly its a mix of jiffy bags, gift boxes, ribbon and paper along with all the beads. My wire was taking over some what too but now its safely in a box.
She has been making some earings in her spare time.... what mother of a 2 year old has spare time? haha...
She will want to make some to sell in the near future.The Quills Zach got for her...
