Not often beading makes the headline, perhaps it is in high demand?Love the way these small shops appropriate a good area of pavement, but tedious I suppose to take it al in and out every day.

I added some beading and pearls to the block with the tatted motif. I also added the embroidered hollyhock motif. I still need to do a little work on the leaves and stem to make it show up a bit more. I don't want to add green to it, I really want to keep everything cream/white except the "silkie" in the center of the larger piece.
This is the costume I made for the Enchanted Doll birthday contest in 2010. It's based on one of the dolls that the artist made and constructed to fit her. The original doll costume can be seen here: www.enchanteddoll.com/galleries/concubine/concubine.html
These shoes were partly decorated when I got them originally. I added the silver beads around the inner edge, the silver wire shapes (I bent those myself) and the pearl drops.

Another product of 'slave' labour I suppose.
