Mods: added beads to the edge lace section, went up a needle size, knit 9 more center repeats

Excuse the crappy chainset - the Jamis is a cheap bike with cheap components, and it should have one of those awful plastic trouser guards fitted to the outer chainwheel, but that went straight in the bin, even if the result is a tad ugly.

I used only simple materials again, 11/0 seed beads, crystal bicone 4mm, pearl 4mm and czech fire polished round 4mm. You can substitute czech FP with pearl.

Despite tradition, you don't have to stack the increases on top of each other. In each of these samples, the black beads are the increases and the white beads the normal stitches. Top right: traditional circular peyote; bottom right: the increases are offset to form a spiral; left: the increases are scattered randomly around the perimeter. To form a flat circle, increase by two beads each round, or six beads each three rounds.

Step 3 of the beading tutorial: Repeat step 2: pass one end of the thread through one of the small beads of the central loop, in the other end of the thread insert two large beads (one round bead and one glass bead) and pass both ends through a third large bead (round bead)
