Here's an example of a very contemporary drapo or Vudu/Vodou flag that is fully beaded. The beading on this flag is not padded as it is on the Obama/Baron Samedi drapo. The squarish object to her left in the photo is her mirror. She's got to look good for the sailors I guess.

Needles: US 5 - 3.75 mm
Mods: added beads to the edge lace section, went up a needle size, knit 9 more center repeats

Excuse the crappy chainset - the Jamis is a cheap bike with cheap components, and it should have one of those awful plastic trouser guards fitted to the outer chainwheel, but that went straight in the bin, even if the result is a tad ugly.

I used only simple materials again, 11/0 seed beads, crystal bicone 4mm, pearl 4mm and czech fire polished round 4mm. You can substitute czech FP with pearl.
