I used vintage crochet, beading, trim. Snap closure.

This is the front side where the beads are picked up using the tiny tambour hook. Working from the wrong side, essentially the beads are strung onto the thread and then you sort of do a chain stitch through the fabris and pick up beads or sequins onto the right side.

This was made as a practice job for tambour beading. I essentially bought myself a cheap shawl that had a bit of a pattern on it, grabbed a handful of random beads and practiced my tambour beading by following around the edge of the pattern.

This was just to practice the skill really and whilst it came out quite pretty, the weight of the glass and metal beads on a thin polyester shawl pulls down a little on the ends for my taste and therefore it sits in a cupboard.

Someday I'm going to learn to appreciate simple, unadorned things that don't take months and months to complete. Probably when I'm dead.

Second beading step: string chain beads. They should be slightly longer than the spine beads, and go through -in this case 3- spine beads. Add one additional spine bead.

this is my first inchie for 2013 and I am glad I got this one done, had to redo it 2x's! I love beads but hate silk beads they are the spoiled brats of the bead world. :P Anyways, here is my lil star.

Shake up the Beading World

Did you know that PRECIOSA ORNELA offers so many bead and seed bead shapes that, if we were to string them on a line, they would stretch all around the world? And do you know them all?

This year, we would like to introduce you to the most popular shapes of the beads and seed beads from the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads™ brand! We will therefore regularly present the beads or seed beads, which are most commonly used and sought after by beadworking enthusiasts and which you may not have even heard of!

We want to make you happy every month and to give out samples of the presented products, so that you also have the opportunity to try using these beads or seed beads and to show us the beautiful objects which you are able to make from them! We will contact many of our followers every month and send them our beads and seed beads as a gift.

This is the back part of the dress.... It isn't perfect, not completely symetrical, but i'm glad i'm finally done x w x

As you can see, I had a rather large order for snails last month, all commissioned by Gigiholy. There are ten in all, six msd sized and four pukifee sized, with pearls. They’re designed to be worn as head parts but since they’re magnetic they ‘stick’ to Fairyland’s hands/wrists and each other. Each one was given a special color scheme to match each of her dolls. Such a cute idea. ^__^

Continue adding chains, threading the needle through the same number of spine beads (3), and adding one more spine bead.
