I used a blank greeting card to make a bookmark. I cut it so that it has the double thickness and glued them together, utilizing the already-created fold. Then beaded the top - amber Czech glass beads, olive seed beeds in between, and green&gold glass beads for the ends.

Soooo, my mom does all kinda of beadwork annnnd I used to. To get back into the groove I asked her to teach me how to do this beading appliqué stuff. I'm starting with a jellyfish, yay!
