I'm sitting here working on a crystal & pearl ring and decided to take a break and get my pics of the day in!!
I wanted something simple for easy care and wear. To give this shawl a little weight I added some faceted glass beads to the simple edging.

The odd colored background was the only one that really showed the shine in these beads. By the way, this is a random right-angle weave project that I followed from Beadwork magazine.

Soooo, my mom does all kinda of beadwork annnnd I used to. To get back into the groove I asked her to teach me how to do this beading appliqué stuff. I'm starting with a jellyfish, yay!
Another Russian spiral bracelet, in one of my favorite color combos. The red and purple are transparent #8 triangles, the large black are matte #8s and the small beads are black #11s. Going to be difficult to give up this one for sale!
