Beaded napkin holders (like the ones dentists use but prettier)
Some of my family members like to use them at restaurants.

- Torus ring: 2.5mm Czech fire-polish crystal; 3.5mm Czech crystal bicones
- Embellishment & necklace: olivine 13/0 charlottes
- Sterling silver "S" clasp
- 18.5" length
My first attempt at Peyote. I lost the chart, so made up my own CQ design. Later I made earrings to match.
She was filling an order for six beaded placemats. Her English wasn't good, but I think she said it would take her six days to finish this one. At the Union Buildings in Pretoria.

I personally love beading and I also enjoyed experimenting with it. So I decided to look into beading more and Egyptian symbols for my research. I loved the and idea especially as it was featured on Elizabeth Taylors customer a lot. I also looked into what sort of ribbon, gems, sequins and fabrics would be best for my fasting using eyelids at the back of my corset.
Veil is not my creation, but I was asked to help replace parts of the design where the beading had come undone, either from thread coming loose or beads being broken. I was quite unsure as I'm not great with sewing and knots, but tackled the challenge and I'm quite pleased with how well it came out.

I went to Beadazzled in Dupont Circle today and mighta come home with a new hobby. teeeeeeeeheeeeeee
I made the felt for this brooch from merino roving, silk hankie fibre, mixed threads and silk ribbon. Then I added glass and antique metal beads, and Algerian eye and colonial knot hand embroidery stitches.
